  1. Michelin Cup is for Track only, undrivable in the rain.

    Pirelli PZero Corsa, good for track and everyday. Little less grip on track than Cup.

    Pirelli PZero, good for everyday, less than Corsa on track.

    Pirelli Nero: bad

    Pirelli Rosso: bad

    Bridgestone RE050: Good for everyday, less than PZero on track.

    I use Corsa for everyday and it is a good compromise. I heard the new Cup+ is not bad but I am waiting to test the new Pirelli Tropheo.

    I've also made the changes: X51 Airbox, cuttings etc ... I saw a few post on adapting the X51 TB. It will not fit the standard Plenum T. And I can confirm it now. I manage to send my RSS IPD Plenum back so they can adapt the X51 TB. Apparently Greg (RSS) confirms that it is possible and will be in their catalog soon. Of course, you need to get the ECU Remap for the extra intake air. The MAF diameter between the stock an X51 airbox is the same so the flow will increase with the mods and can be out of range.

  3. This is weird, I just install mine without a problem, you just need to replace all the bushing: front and rear because not the same diameter. I setup mine on Front: 2 and Rear:2 Same than GT3 but had to change to Rear:1 because of Tail Happy. If I got wider tyres I will go back to 2. I will try to send you a picture of the GT3 Rear Sway on my 997S. About your tail happy car, it is the contrary, if you rear is stiffer, it will increase this effect. You have to soften the back. Also very important, tyres pressures, you might have too much pressure on the rear. To setup the sway bar you do not need to drive like crazy, even at slow speed you can feel it. At the moment, my car is very neutral I do not have any problem slowing down from 220km/h to 70km/h in 100m and taking a 90 degree turn. Full brake in the straight and a sligh breaking during the turn just to put grip on the front wheel.

  4. Hello Everyone,

    Just need some advise on oil for Track. I believe 0W40 and 5W40 is not the right one. 0W40 is good for cold country, 5W40 is better for countries like us. But why a lot of people is using Castrol RS 10W60 for track ... Answer: the oil is thicker and will stay longer on the upper of the engine, better lubrification and less break down! Any experience? Thanks.
