replace CDR23 with Indianapolis Pro for 996 GT3
in 996 GT3
Posted · Edited by GGGT3
Hi,
I have a couple of questions with regard to replacing my CDR23 radio with a Becker Indianapolis Pro. My 996 GT3 is not equipped with an amp, which makes it easier I guess. If not, let me know. The MOST connection is empty in my car.
The yellow connector C in the CDR23 is according to me there for the radio code only? Should I put this one also in the Indianapolis Pro or should I leave it loose after installation? Would this trigger the alarm to go off or any other signal from the car's computer?
The indianapolis Pro has a connection for a signal in when putting the car in reverse. Who has any idea why this is and if it is necessary at all?
Thanks for your response.
PS. Just saw that I posted it on the wrong area of the forum. This one should be in the DIY section. Sorry.
