  1. Are you talking to a Porsche dealer ? if so I would be worried.

I don't know the version sorry, without hooking up the tester you cannot tell any other way.

I do not recall a specific one but there were quite a few, as soon as they hook up PIWIS they should see the version problem. It may require the replacement of the unit not just a reflash so if your out of warranty you might want to consider that it could cost a lot.

Yes, your version of DME is wrong. It could be that the DME unit itself needs to be replaced also. All of this should have been done under warranty (mine was)

I had the same problem you describe for the first year until they got there act together.

    Hi Guys,

I have a CS 04 and when i switch the PSM off via the button, it doesnt make a difference to performance or gear change...

    any ideas?

Is there a TBS or the like for this?

    Mudman,

Can you tell me what version I should have....so i can give them a pointer, my model is a CS 2003 build? The dealer reckons that the PSM just turns the stablity control off and doesnt do anything else....any help is good.

Yeah...its a porsche dealer....hmm...i'm going to get them to look at it again, my starter motor is playing up....lucky its still has extended warranty.
