ha! That is to funny, the wife sent me that last night! It must have still be on the computer clipboard and not the engine URL!
Search ebay, there was at least one 3.2L engine last night.
I'm looking for a 3.4 or is it not worth it compared to a 3.2?

Do you know where they are at? I would love to go down and take a look at what they have in person.

Hello,
I'm new here and pretty new to the whole Porsche world and I'm interested in taking an early boxster and converting it to a turbocharged 6sp 3.4L. I have seen the 3.4L swaps but I have yet to see anyone turbocharge one. I just want to run a moderate 5-6pounds of boost because I don't know how much the tranny will take. I figure I can get 350hp or so.
What does everyone think? Are their any intake manifolds for the 3.4 that will take 5 pounds? Can anyone help me find an engine?
Thanks,
Drew
What Boxster do I need for a 3.6 swap?
in 986 Series (Boxster, Boxster S)

After reading posts on here and doing some of my own research I decided to try to tackle a 3.6 conversion. I just have a few questions before getting underway.
I can find 97' boxsters for 10k in pretty good condition but I hear people saying they won't work, something about E-gas?
About the ECU, where will I need to send it to get reprogrammed, I don't know of anywhere around here capable of doing it.
And last but not least, will I be able to swap in a Boxster S 6sp in? Are the spines identical?
Thanks
