One Porsche dealers site refers to it as a " mount bracket " .  Despite the description are the  997.555.381.03 for the drivers door. Passenger door number is different ( 382 vs 381).

    Same problem just started occurring on my 2006 997.1, thank you for the information.

  2. Just bought a hybrid piggy for the wifey and the 40K is due. I want to do the stealer 40K service myself because of the outrageous quote of $1700 to replace  plugs, air filter, oil, oil filter, pollen filter. The rest of the quote is for labor inspections. I do not think I would jeopardize the CPO and I believe I am confident and skilled enough to perform. Can someone chime in and assist giving proper vendors for OEM parts and if plugs are changed will I mess with computer or having to reset for any reason. Thanks a bunch, signed Hybrid newbie!
