  1. I'm cosidering purchasing an additional "Cayenne turbo" rear emblem and having it painted red or black so it stands out a little more. I have a silver car and the silver emblems get lost in the sea of silver. I really liked the red S on my C4S.

Has anyone removed the OEM emblems? Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I did it. The original emblem fixed by adhesive tape. I removed emblem by using :)) expired credit card. It does not leave scratches.

    Good luck!

  2. One more time - You need to find a shop or Porsche dealer(OPC) with a PIWIS and ask them to program it for you.

Dear Loren! probably PCM retrofit manual will help Ermil 77, at least fix trouble with buttons? Do you have this info on your site?

    Alex.

The PCM retrofit installation instructions are in a TSB - and they are available here to Contributing Members.

    Hi

I looked through the TSB on PCM installation. I found there a lot of useful information. According to TSB I connected A8 and C14 sockets on PCM connector. Now all buttons are working.

    Thanks Alex and Loren!

  3. Hi

I replaced oem CD receiver by PCM head unit. Radio and CD changer is working properly, but PCM buttons do not work and after 3-5 sec error message appears on monitor ( no navigation, amplifier detected). Could you tell me how this message can be removed.

    Thank you all in advance.

When you did the install, did you install the DVD nav unit as well, or just the head unit? Which unit, the PCM 2.1? I am thinking about doing the same thing, as I do not need Nav, and don't want to go through the hassle of retrofitting everything. Any info you have would be appreciated, pics, instructions, etc.

My guess is that you need to go to your dealer and have him program the PCM to let it know there is no Nav unit.

Yes I only installed a head unit PCM without nav module. Don't you know how to program PCM? My dealer a far from my place. Is there any other way of PCM activation than visiting the dealer.

    Emil
