  1. im going into the main dealer tomorrow so they can pinpoint the problem but he said the same as this thread.. new arms £190.00 each !!! and 1.6 hrs labour to fit for a grand total of £632.00 the car is 9 years old now so i guess its ok as long as they dont go in that time again.... you cant own a porsche and not expect some big bills i guess always frustrating there is no easier fix like new rubbers and cup bit replacement but heh ho !
  2. this is really anoying for me also would a silicone spray work ???? or WD40 sorry if that sounds dumb but i am when it comes to these sorts of things also i notice on other threads could be loose anti rol bar where is that and how do i get to it i think i can tighten a bolt or two ok.....gulp !
  3. sorry if this is repeated but i need a couple of parts...... whats the best place in uk for second hand parts.... ot can anybody tell me how much the rubber bellow bit under the rear spolier should cost... ive seen the section on fitting it ! mines ripped 50% width now i need to sort it asap
  4. yes i appear to of developed smething like this however just makes noise when i steer you can hear it when your really slow at first i thought it was front suspension creaking but it does it on the flat when im crawling very slowly or could it be something else
  5. ok its a simple one i hope most others answered with a search query on this great site......... i have a 1999 996 cab when you start the car it has a oil guage on the right hand side lcd usually when in pos 2 it counts down from 4 to 0 then finsihs the oil level check well weirdly now its like a timer counting down from 60 minutes whats that all about please ???? or is summit wrong ?
  6. ive just done a double din upgrade... new centre consol peice £65.00, moved aircon controllers to bottom tray opening next to gear stick/shifter and fitted a awsome pioneer touchscreen avic d3 with bluetooth ipod etc etc...... dont settle for single din upgrades this cost the same as a decent single din with nav from becker but looks 1000x better
