Try 6717Hi.. I recently purchased a 2001 Boxter. 5 speed with the Becker cdr 220 radio and I can't find the radio code card with my owners manual give to me.. Since I am now the 4th owner.. Someone must have tossed it away..I am planning on removing the head unit to install an MP3 cable from Becker and I know that if the radio is accidentally unplugged it will no longer work. I looked up the serial number using the Becker 1 display prompt on the unit and it is

986 top window folding problem
in 987-1 Boxster Convertible Top Issues and Solutions

I recently purchased a 2001 red boxter in mint condition and the first time I put my top down.. I got out and helped the rear window bend properly and I put a towel over it to protect it from rubbing the top.. My first car was a 1959 Plymouth convert and you had to unzip the vinyl back window first.. My Dad bought the car new and he taught me that it made sense to get out and manually help the top fold neatly and to give that delicate back window special care. It only takes a minute and is worth it.. After owning a leaky Corvette with a manual top. my Boxter is a gem, even if you have to help it out a little. No offense intended to you or to the ladies but I always thought that only women hit the power down button and didn't care what was going on in back of them.
