  1. THANKS IT WORKED!!!!!! The odometer and all the dash settings came back by disconnecting the negative cable as suggested. The radio has no power so I am after the fuse fix ...hopefully the radio will not have to come out. I have the card with the code ....shouldn t that work or is it rest set everytime it comes out? Then onto the airbag.
  2. Where are you located? I think you need someone with a PST2... I live in Jupiter FL .....the odometer is at 599 999 not 999 999 ...plus also I lost the radio and the air bag light is now on. I guess this must be unusual . I think I have a top notch local repair service in Palm Beach.....Orbit ..but they say they have never seen this and I hate to experiment . They indicated that odometer have to be sometimes reset but that if you drive the car more than 100 miles it may not be possible. What then replace the odometer or reset it to zero ..neither seem reasonable.
  3. My battery completely died over the summer due to no use of my 911. In the past I have just recharged or replaced the battery and everything was good. This year everything died. The odometer lost the millage and reset at 59999 , the radio will not come on and now I have the air bag light on. I asked my local independent Porsche service center and got the "never seen this before discussion".....but if you drove it more than 100 mies we can t reset it. Help?
