Did you order springs for your model year or go for a later year (more weight)?
Also did anyone order the 030 springs for a Tip model and put on a Manual car?
from what I looked up in PET, fronts are the same, rear's are different part #'s for Tip cars.
What model of shocks did you use? ROW factory Bilstein's?, aftermarket Sport Bilsteins, ? etc?
Sway Bars? ROW 030's? Aftermarket? and sizes?
planning for mods when I put the car away for winter.

Kevin,
Thanks, the link to 986board didn't work for me.
As far as what am I going to do with the old console, haven't decided yet, but I'll keep you in mind.
The console I have is from a Carrera and is graphite gray, I'm really thinking about shooting it Artic Silver to go with the exterior but may put it in to see what it does for the interior first being gray.

Thanks, that was what I was looking for

That was my thinking also.
A follow on question to someone that has removed the Silver Horseshoe collar on the shifter. I've read the Rear Console removal instructions, but still am wondering how to release/remove the holdown for the boot under this silver collar.
Any words of wisdom?
thx, Mike

Looking to see if anyone has instructions on changing out the rear center console.
I purchased another one to replace my black 02 one and was looking for help on changing out the bits and pieces

Is the Trac Control (T/C switch) same as the footwell lighting switch, in that it is Double poll momentary?
Looking to add another switch for my On Board Compt. function.
Thanks, Mike

While under the car last nite I noticed a few oil drops on a couple of components.
Car is under warranty and was wondering what was the book time on replacing the seal at a dealer.
REason I ask is, I am leaving town and will be gone for a week but don't want to leave the car for a week. If it is a one day affair that would OK, but 2 or 3 days I think I want to reschedule.
Thx, Mike

I was wondering for those that have factory 6 point harness setup (ROW installed, I believe only) there is a Crossmember that is referenced in the PET as a cross member that looks like it could locate the sub straps for a 6 point harness.
My question is does anyone have a factory 6 pt setup and if so. does it bolt on under the exiting seat (which one) to mount the Sub harnesses? to?
If you have a picture that would be great.
Can someone tell me the price $ of this part #?
For those of us who are looking to mount the Sub belts , this might be our answer without additional drilling.
:drive: Thanks for reading,
Mike M
