I use my 1983 911sc as my everyday car. It was running really well until the other day it died in traffic. I thought I may have run out of petrol but after topping up it failed to start. The Battery and Oil warning lights don't come on now when when key is in "on" position. All other electrics seem fine. When attempting to start it makes a healthy attempt but doesnt fire. Any ideas on what I can try?
I'd guess fuel pump and/or fuel pump relay. try swapping the relay for another.... then check whether the pump is getting juice and working... good luck
Thanks for all suggestions. It took a new fuel pump.

I want to install a keyless entry system on my 83 911sc. I have found a few suppliers that I am considering. Has anyone done the conversion yet? Does the 83 SC use rod or cable central locking?
Thanks in advance for any help!

I need to source a new/refurb'd exhaust system, with heat exchangers for my '83 911sc. Can anyone recommend a good value supplier please?
I have found systems for about €1300 ($1800). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
