I think it's normal, mine does the same thing. You can also feel it as the engine revs just slightly over idle rpm.

Looking with a scan tool it seems the timing becomes quite advanced over idle levels and the secondary air operates which is the cause of the rough running

feel.

I brought mine to the dealership (04 Cayenne turbo) for the same thing. They said nothing was found. The plugs and coils had been done already. However I noticed the brand new loaner cayenne (non-turbo) did exactly they same thing. So I can only assume it's nomal but annoying

Does the service warning light illuminate when things like spark plugs or brake fluid reach either the replacement interval in time (years) as well as mileage?

Also the brake pad wear indicators-does it illuminate specifically as brakes or is it the general service warning and must be brought to dealer to figure out without a Durametric?

The idea is to have an additional master key, that's a brand new remote & cut key.

What costs are involved in having a new key?

I only have one key and would like a spare, but does it mean a costly remofe and programming and recut metal key section by the main dealer?Sounds expensive.....

I had a remote go bad and got new remote and key cut along with programming from P dealership in NJ for $175+tax

I have a 2004 Cayenne Turbo with 36k miles that the service warning light keeps coming on every 3-4k miles. I don't drive it much and picked with 28k miles about a year ago. Everything seems perfect. As a former aircraft mechanic I always do the easy stuff myself and changed the oil about 1500 miles ago when it last illuminated this same way-non specific and no faults indicated. I had the dealer reset the light while having a few minor warranty items complied with. Now its back on.

The light has no faults associated with it that would show on the cluster (I don't have a Durametric) - but does specify I need "service in 2000 miles".

Anyone familiar with this?

I assume it shouldn't be the oil and the 40K service is 4k miles out not 2k.

Any ideas?

Are this lights predictive on brake wear or something like that?

Pulled the fuse and the unit reset so it will turn on and off now. Navi and CD work fine again. Radio both AM and FM still dead....but that part of the problem pre-dated this one.

2004 Cayenne Turbo

PCM is dead no radio or navi but the screen is still illumenated. Does show anything but is on all the time even when ignition is off.

Anyone know which fuse box and which fuse to pull so my battery doesn't go dead? I opened the driver side fuse panel but theres no map detailing which fuses are connected to what. Just a bunch of numbers.

I had seen in another post that the antenna is located in the the spoiler. However no work was done in the rear of the car, so I don't think the cause is in that location at this point.

Anyone know what connections (if any) normally would need to be disconnected and thus possibly failed to be reconnected during a windsheild replacement?

Are Antenna wires routed near the windshield and possibly cut during its removal?

Any other potential PSM failures known to case radio only not to get reception? Everything else on the PSM works fine.

I had the windshield replaced on my 2004 Cayenne Turbo.

Now the radio has no AM or FM reception with the Navi working fine. Everything was OK before swap.

Where would I find the windshield antenna connections to confirm whether they are hooked up?
