  1. My steering wheel feels slightly crooked (too much lean on the right) and I have been driving with this problem since I last brought the suv in for new spark plugs and coils. I had mentioned to my SA that the wheel felt heavy at some points while driving, and the tech checked it out but found no problems with the steering wheel. I think the tech probably messed around with the wheel and now it is is "off", and it is especially noticeable when driving on the highway (keeping the suv straight means the wheel is slightly bent to the right). So my question is there any way to fix this without the hassle of calling up my SA and telling them about this issue and possibly wasting more time at the dealer?

I had a problem with mine being slightly off to the left after an alignment and it was driving me crazy. I took it back to my shop and explained the situation and they were able to correct it. I believe they actually removed and remounted the wheel but whatever they did it is perfect now so I know it can be fixed.

  2. Hi,

Does anyone have any information on these rims?

They run for ~$800-900 on ebay for a set of 20" and seem like a great deal, compared to porsche's original offerings.

The seller(s) says that they are high quality and confirm to European specifications (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/20-PORSCHE-CAYENNE-VOLKSWAGEN-VW-TOUAREG-WHEELS-RIMS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ43960QQihZ018QQitemZ280201167664QQrdZ1QQsspagena

I read in another thread that the rim seems to be heavier than the original, which is not a show-stopper for me.

My biggest concern is safety - I want to make sure that this rim does not crack form heating and breaks in half when I go 100+ mph..

Can anyone share experiences or any other useful information about this rim?

Again, I am interested in 20" model, which hopefully fits my 2008 Cayenne..

I don't know about those specifically, however, I purchased 22" replica wheels of the same design from Discount Tire and have been very satisfied with them. I believe that they did offer them in 20" also around the price range that you mentioned so you may want to check their website. Just keep in mind that you still have to purchase the center caps from Porsche to finish off the look. My dealer charged around $180.00 for the set and they fit my wheels perfectly.
