  1. Ken: If your replacement seats are heated, they will each have a seat heater relay attached and connected to the underside of the seats. That is, unless someone has removed the relays, but in that case you should still have the connectors for the relays there. The relays are located near the outboard sides of the seat bottoms, about halfway between the front and the rear of the seat bottoms. The relays are black, about 2 inches tall by 1 inch by 1 inch and have the part # 996 618 521 00. If you take photos of the underside of the seat bottoms, it should be plainly evident whether the relays are there or not (or the connectors if the relays have been removed). Regards, Maurice. Thanks Maurice. It is hard to see if they are there in the photos I took of the underside of the driver's seat. I looked under my current seats in my car (which are heated), and I couldn't see the relays there either! Perhaps I'm not looking in the right place. Actually, I seldom use heated seats, so it isn't a big deal. But if I could establish that they are not heated, I might be in a better position to get them at a discount. I appreciate you taking the time to provide this information. I have attached one of the photos I took of the seats I'm considering, in case you can see any tell-tale signs of heated seats. Thanks again.
  2. I'm considering purchasing a salvaged set of adaptive sport seats for my 997S to replace my standard seats. My current seats are powered and heated. The A.S.S are powered, but I can't tell if they are heated. Is there something I can look for on bottom of the seats that will confirm one way or other? The A.S.S. seem to have just the 2 connectors like my current heated seats. I have photos, so if someone know what to look for, let me know and I'll send them.
