I've read through this whole thread (phew). I guess since I have an older Porsche CR-1 radio without the code I am out of luck?

I got two numbers from the back of the unit itself:

V40821899B

If so, try 0827

Yes, I'm sure it's a 4-digit code since I've entered them before on other CR-1's. Unfortunately, with these radios you can only enter digits 1 - 6 so I would have no way of entering those codes. Thanks anyway :)

Er... what I meant was that the codes are 4-digit codes, but each digit can only range from 1 - 6 (since you enter the code using the preset buttons on the radio face, and there are only buttons 1 through 6). I'll check out that site, thanks.
