  1. Just got a warning message to check my right cornering light on my 05 cayenne. Yup, the

light is not working. Also noticed the left side is not working. Could both lamps go bad at the same time?

Fuse checked OK. Does anybody know if these lamps are wired in series so that if one lamp dies, the

other stops working? Or maybe I have a problem wiyh my steering sensor? Thanks for any help.

  2. Sorry, yes Loren is correct.

OK, thanks guys, that sounds good. But I'm going to the dealer. The condition seems to be getting worse

and will let the pros handle it this time. Again, thanks for your inputs.

If your car is under warranty this should be free. Reference TSB 16/07 2820 Bar Ignition Modules (Coils) -- dated Jul 5, 2007.

Just wanted to update the status of my repairs for the benefit of others who may have a similar problem. I nursed my 05 Cayenne to the dealer with 58k miles on it.

He confirmed that the ignition modules were indeed bad and replaced ALL 8 via Porsches goodwill warranty, referencing the TSB thta Loren had mentioned before. Thanks again Loren !! Not too shabby. They even replaced my defective horn

for 25 cents on the dollar. The grand total for all this work? $44.00.
