i didnt use an amp to power mine. i just ran the speaker cables under the center console and ran them from the rear outs on the head unit. you get the right pins in the kit to do this from the Porsche wiring loom.

The HU holds separate settings for each band and each input so you need to set the bass, treble, fade and balance for each radio band and for the cd.
This is what i found. go through your settings for the radio and cd seperately with the manual.

Just pop the push rod ends off and the roof will close when you pull it. You may need to undo the push rods to your clamshell to lower that aswell. This is only a temporary measure as the clamshell will reattle as you drive with no push rods attached to it.
