:welcome:
Disconnect (unplug) your MAF and see if it makes any difference.
P0102 says the MAF reading is too low - so it is either shorted or not connected.
Hi Loren,
Thanks a lot for your reply.
How will i know if the MAF is shorted?
What shall i use to clean the MAF sensor? Can you please tell me what type of cleaner will be best suited for the job and where to find it.
Thanks once again.

Hi,
I have a 1999 Porsche Boxster. I am getting a P0102 error code.
When my engine is on and the car is standing still the RPM fluctuates and the engine once turned off.
And a couple of times i have trouble starting the car. I had to wait for sometime like 15 to 20 minutes before it started again. I even called the tow truck once and when the truck came it started.
I was reading the forums and it said if its MAF then the RPMs will not fluctuates when the car is standing..
I am seeking advise whether its MAF or its something else.
If its MAF then whether i need to clean it or replace it.
Looking forward for your advise.
Thanks
Kunal
