  1. So I have had my '06 997 S for about 4 months now and have done mostly short drives here and there not spending too much time doing highway driving. I always noticed that there was some road noise when transitioning from asphalt to concrete (grooved) stretches of highway and when going over speed bumps and uneven road, but did not pay too much attention to it. I recently did an hour of highway driving and could barely stand the cabin road noise. It seemed to be much worse on the concrete stretches and over expansion joints. I also noticed that more of the noise came from the rear tires rather than the front. I have also noticed more noise coming from the rear when going over speed bumps or rough road. I have brand new PS2's, but did notice the noise with the Pirelli's I had previously. Is this normal? I was told it could be bad wheel bearing, but the car has 14,5k miles so I question this being the cause. Any insight would be appreciated.
  2. Mine is not a "rattling" noise. It more of a "creaking" noise as I go up driveways at an angle. I assume it's from the chassis flexing and it's sounds as if it is directly to the right rear.
  3. It's the correct voltage and I'm pretty sure it's the correct wattage. The bulb was definitely not working and when I replaced it, it was working again, but I still get the warning to check the rear fog light.
  4. I have a creaking sound around the passenger side rear window area when going up driveways with my 06 997. Is there a TSB for this, I could not locate any?
  5. I recently had the rear fog light go out and since replaced it with a new bulb (with a Sylvania bulb, not an Osram) the bulb seems to be working fine, but I am still getting a warning that the bulb is out. I replaced the Osram with a Sylvania of the same type. Any insight would be appreciated.
  6. Yeah, I thought about doing that, but figured I will just do the one replacement since I just re-insalled / bled everything after having my calipers re-finished. Thanks for the suggestion.
  7. I think I may have got the part number Loren. Is 996.355.584.06 the correct one? I need the right (passenger) side. -Matt
  8. Wanted to get information regarding the metal hydraulic brake fluid line that goes into the side of the caliper. I stripped the threaded screw that holds the line securely into the caliper and wanted to know if there was a part number available to get a new one. TIA -Matt
  9. I'm looking to get the part number for the plastic bezel that houses the homelink buttons, sunroof buttons and reading lamps. This is for an MY06 997 black with sunroof. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  10. I am in need of torque tightening specs for the suspension components. Namely the drop links, strut mount, lower rear shock mount and sway bar bolts. I have searched this forum as well as others to no avail. Car is a 997 C2S. TIA -Matt
