I have a 99 Porsche 996. I put a new battery in the car last week; because the car battery keeps running totally dead if it sits for a couple of days. I had the starter and alternator checked out and they are both good. Now even with this new battery, the same thing happens. I notice my cabin air filter fan is running even if the car is turned off. Is that normal, also, what could be the problem besides a short. Thank you.

I remember seeing once on the forum a description with pictures on how to remove a front bumper. Does anyone have this link available. Thank you!! Pretty new to forum, what a great site!!!!

Thank you, I pulled the fuse and the blower now does not run which in turn will not drain my battery. How do I fix this problem? Do you think it could be an issue with the ignition switch. I replaced my ignition switch last year with the Audi part since porsche does not make it anymore ( only the whole assembly). Thank you.
