  1. Loren, I recently removed an aftermarket fixed spoiler that replaced the stock retractable unit. I re-installed the stock unit w/o incident, initially it deployed fine. Now, it is slightly uneven when it comes up, I did find one of the bolts had loosened at the base of the mechanism attachment to the lid. After tightening it down, it is better, but still slightly crooked. What can I do short of disasembling the entire mechanism, which is a PIA.

  2. I replaced my pads about two months ago, I drove it daily this winter with snow tires (sig more sand/salt used in my area this yr).

When the car is wet and esp cold outside I can hear a dragging sound from the Rt front, stops after a minute or two, I attributed it to alot of surface rust on the rotor after being wet/snow/ice.

I washed the car on Sat., I noticed that the rotor seemed to be frozen momentarily when I went to move yhe car on sunday, now there was a fair amount of crud on the rotor from the prev wash, just seemed weird. I got a good look at it yesterday, pads have plenty of meat left, just surface corrosion or brake dust buildup I guess?

    Any ideas?
