  2. So how much would everything I need to make it really HID litronic cost? to get it to factory standards if I get the litronic headlamp from ebay?
  3. I am in the market for litronic headlight conversions and I have found the actualy headlight unit for real cheap however he does not have anything else. What other parts do I need and how much would it cost me? Any help would be appreciated.
  4. My new boxster is having top problems. On the passenger side today when I put the top up, I saw that the top on the passengers side had come loose and pulled over the window trim. What had happened was the thread holding the top together came loose. Actually it broke and causing the top to flap over a little bit on top of the passenger side. Im irritated. Has anyone had this problem? can anyone give me an estimate of how long you think this top is going to be in the shop? I just got it back last thurs and now it has to go back. Im soo frustrated. Ok so the problem is the stitching had come loose on the passenger side.
  5. What website do you guys go to look and purchase boxster mods? ex: intake, accessories and so on.
  6. I dont want to deal with the stealership right now. I already took the car in at 300miles for the inner lining of my top coming apart. And they had the **** car for a week. If I can have a home remedy to the problem, I rather do it myself. I used heavy duty double sided tap under the wheel well where I think the ends and the middle are hitting metal. And you know what, It solved the problem
  7. I think I found the problem. Could it be the inner front driver side lining in the wheel well is loose?
  8. anyone else can help me? I think it might be the wind...that makes a clattering noise but not certain...anyone else have this noice above 45?
  9. I have a 2004 boxster and have about 700miles on it and today when I had the top up, the radio off and going anything above 50mph there is a slight clattering noise from the front driver side area. It seems to be coming under the front hood biased towards the drivers side. If I sit there and really listen for the noise to come I can hear it. I put the top down and tried to listen for it..nothing...I put the top up and windows down...nothing. The wind cancels out the noise. But when I am driving anything above 50mph its a slight clatter you really have to listen near the driver side trunk area...to tell you the truth its coming near the front driver side speaker...like underneath it..I have nothing in my trunk and I dont really know if I am being anal or what. Can someone help me?
  10. thank you very much....the mickeymouse man comes thru...!!!!
  11. Hey you seem to be the boxster guru. I was wondering if you have found a online version of the manual for the maintence prgrams the boxster goes thru. I mean the directions on how to do the oil changes, what to visually inspect for and what to replace for the 15k service and so on. Thanks for the help in advance.
  12. thanks for the help..this forum has been awesome...mrmickeymouse, if i am not mistaken you are on a lot of other porsche forums... correct?
  13. Has anyone put the Boxster S white back face gauges on a non S? If so, how much did you pay and is their a place cheaper then the stealership where I can get them? What about the aluminum interior? Where can I get a set for cheaper then what the dealership charges for them? Any help at all will be appreciated.
  14. thanks for the help, I scheduled an appointment for tomorrow
  15. I just purchased a 2004 boxster and this is my thrid day of ownership and have encountered a problem already. Let me do my best to describe it. When my convertible top is closed there is a lining(i guess ucan call it that) in the inside of the top.( if you put ur hands up when the top is up, you can feel it). Well, where the latch is to close the top, the inner lining has separated from the rest of the convert top. Not much, but just in the middle. I thought it would be a relatively easy fix and snap it back in with the rest of the top but it won't stay. I guess you need kind of glue or sealant to hold the bottom liner into the rest of the top? The bottom liner and the rest of the top comes together right where the latch to close and open the top is. Can anyone tell me if they encountered the same problem and what I can do to fix it. Thanks Frank
