Dealer cost versus Indy costs?

You cannot program a remote, new or used, to the car unless you have the paper tag that came with the remote. That tag has a 24 digit code on it. You program the control unit under the seat for the remote, not the remote for the control unit. Without the paper tag or code you are out of luck. This is why I tell people to avoid ebay/used remotes.
Thanks for the info! As you said, I'm out of luck (I got the remote on ebay). Dealer's asking $300 to order a new key ($150) and program it ($150). I know I must pay the programming fee, but where can I get a remote (preferably new) besides the dealer? Considering the $50 I've already wasted on ebay, unless I find one for less than $100, I'll end up paying more than what the dealer originally quoted. Thanks in advance.
Sunset has the for $105... http://www.sunsetimports.com/porscheatcost.php

2002 Boxster S. I'm experiencing rough exceleration in all gears until the engine warms up to 180. No CEL... What might be causing this?
