  1. I posted some info on the subject of fitting a Dension Gateway in my 987on the boxster section of the forum. The 997 and 987 use the same PCM so the install is essentially the same for both cars. Fitting takes about 1 hour and if you already have a CD changer , doesn't require a trip to the Porsche main agent. The dension allows you to play I pod or USB tracks directly controlled via the PCM. There is also an additional module you can buy that synchs with your bluetooth phone mimmicking the OEM phone system.

    I have just taken delivery of an MoBridge unit that links into the 997 MOST fibre optic system. Check it out at www.mobridge-use.com. There are two models, ipod only and ipod and blue tooth. Cost was £300 in UK for ipod and £590 for ipod and bluetooth.
