I use a lot of the tarett stuff. I like it, and think Ira does a good job with customer service.
I recommend softer springs, though, than what the spec guys run - I started with 450/500 and have, over time, moved down to 400# all around.
which tarett pieces are you using?

I have been happy with Toyo RA1's on my 97. I run 235x17 front and 275x18 rear. Very good grip for track days, wear rating of 100 means they will wear faster than the Michelens, mine last one season.

I'm doing more track days in my '97, want to upgrade suspension and use racing slicks this year. Looking at Tarett susp pieces approved for spec racing. Which ones have been tried by the members?

You might want to check the date on the original post, the X51 has been in my car for 6 months. I just finished putting my previous non-X51 3.6 in a '98 car that is going up for sale soon.
My car is lowered on H&R springs with new Bilstein Sports, H&R sways front and rear, Ruf wheels 18x8.5 and 18x10 and Tarrett rear toe arms to correct for the lowering.

Todd,
Would you be interested in working on my '97 with botched engine swap from 986 forum (3.4 swap turned out to be 3.2 with nonfunctioning Variocam). I am also interested in your 3.6 car.
