I found the answer helped by Loren who seems to know more about Porsche than Porsche.
Connector 4 also known as D and the CAN High is D36 Blue/White and CAN Low is L37 Grey/White
AIM Data logger dash now installed and working 100%

Hi all,
Having a spot of drama with the fitting of an AIM Sport MXL dash, AIM claim it will take data from the DME via CAN+ and CAN- however the documentation supplied has no real correlation to the GT3 DME pinouts.
Does anyone know or can supply me the information of which of the 5 connectors and which pins on the DME are the CAN+ and CAN- ?

MXL is available in 3 versions:
• STRADA (same as Pista, no sampling capability)
• PISTA (1 speed, 8 analog inputs, AMP connectors)
• PRO (4 speeds, 12 analog inputs)
I have the PISTA and it reads:
• SPEED
• RPM
• WATER TEMP
• OIL PRES
• THROTTLE POSITION
• BRAKE ON/OFF
• BATTERY
• ENGINE MON (%POWER?)
on top of this it gives:
• Laptimes
• G Force
Make really nice graphs to visualize the laps (even without the GPS option)
This has been a great addition to my car I have imporved times on ALL tracks since it now shows me where I was breaking to early/late, mid corcer speed etc etc
I have requested some additions to the units ability to read from the ECU from AIM however they have been really slow in response.
I would have liked to add the following:
• Lamda as my car this already (There is an option to add this to the MXL but why when the Porsche already does it?)
There were others but I cant remember what they were as I was working with my Mechanic to put this together.

I hope that helps
