so no luck, the battery has nothing and i cant get anything through the trickle charger cigarette lighter, I've tried 2 different ones. I'm not sure what to do here. Is there anther way to get the hood open, or is there somewhere else i can apply power too? But I would like to drive my car, and I cant! Thanks for the help, Jeff

So, maybe I am dumb? I just got back from Iraq and my 99 C2 has been sitting for 3 months. The battery is dead, not a big deal, has happened before, but I cant open my trunk or hood! They are both stuck at the levers. The doors are unlocked/locked, closed, open, the key on/off, and Im out of ideas. The levers are stuck, I mean i cant pull them with all my effort. So, I cant get to my battery or anything. Thanks, Jeff

So, my speedometer on my 99 C2 reads about 5 mph fast when I am actually going 60. So not so much a big deal, but can I fix this. Is my odometer going to read 5-10% high? Thanks, Jeff

Good idea... but not for my car. I checked. I have a 99 C2 with the standard lights. My car has the amber plastic all the way through.... any other ideas?

So here is my car (or least close enough, its in the garage and I dont have any pictures handy). I hate the orange in my lights. What can I do? I've looked around and even called LA Dismantlers and we are talking $500 for a pair of taillights and a $1000 or more for head lights. Is this my only option? Can I go somewhere else, Does some one else make them for cheap. And why does it cost so much for a set of headlights? Well, thanks for your time.

Great idea, I'll try that. I have a anther question. When driving, but not all the time, when the car revs in up, but only when in gear, there is a rattle, but it sounds like a short in the radio static, but the sound will happen if the radio is off. The sound matches the revs, as in it gets louder as the car revs higher... any thoughts?

Hi, this is my first post, bear with me please.

My 99 C2 is Squeaking from the front end, it started 3-4 months ago and was only once in awhile. It has gotten steadily worse, to the point now that any movement in the front end makes the sound. If you push up and down on the front hood in park it will make the sound also. It seems to be equal from both sides but it’s hard to tell. I don't have much free time, I'm a soldier, but this is starting to drive me nuts. Thank you for your time. Jeff
