  1. last weekend i have changed the starter(pain in the ***) . After the work was done everytime i step on the accelerator the engine hesitate for about 3 seconds and then goes kinda normal. I feel a lock of power . I did change the coils and plugs few months ago as well the fuel pump last year . I did connect it to the computer and did a full reset but we have no bad codes and is still the same . It fill like lock of air but i did open the air intake and it works fine. Any ideas ? thanks

  2. I am usually the last one to say "Use the search" function, but man if you look down just a couple of posts you will see my own posts on this topic. I did some research and found that the best is OEM Pagid, but you will get the brake dust. There are mixed reviews with the Hawk HPS and thier Ceramic. Mostly that they don't have the initial "bite" that the OEM has, but you are not left with tons of brake dust.

I went with the Hawk HPS and I hope that I get the same results others like Mudman has (he has installed or about to be on his 3rd set). The ceramic have the potential to eat rotors and not be as effective when cold, but have no visually dust. Thier dust is very light.

Of course you can go OEM and use aftermarket inhibitors like the new Armor All.

    Good Luck!

thank you , i will try the ceramic . I had the EBC red stuff and my rotors are almost gone but it lasted for 35K , so this is not bad at all vs stock .

  3. wow 997 fault detection hahaha

The problem with intermittent problems is catching them in the act. If it left no pending codes that is unusually.

They likely need to connect the PIWIS tester and then "rain" water on the car with a hose.

I just talk to my local service guy in Porsche dealer he told me that if we don't have any codes 95% chance that the high pressure fuel pump is bad . Any ideas ??
