I live in Montevideo, Uruguay and have been the owner of a 993 Carrera 4 and a 996 Carrera 4. I am contemplating buying a 2009 Carrera 4S, but with the 19 inch wheels and low profile(30 & 35) tyres, it looks to be terrible hard. Our roads are not very good and we have potholes and differences in the concrete(roots...?). Is there any softer suspension that can be ordered with a 2009 Carrera 4S..? I am afraid that my wife will not like to ride on a new Carrea 4s, as the 996 Carrera 4 is already hard for her.
Isthere any chance of putting 18 inch wheels on the new Carrera 4S..? here it is a question of comfort, over performance...i could also have the 19 inch for a track day session anyway.
I would appreciate all coments and advice... Many thanks,
Nando
