Update: After another week and a few hundred miles more, downshifting has continued to get better in all modes, so it looks like the TSB update did the trick! Still has the slight delay from dead stop though, but it appears this has been a long standing issue without resolution, even on 981s.

Has anyone tried the ViseeO WMA1000 Tune2Air A2DP bluetooth product with PCM 3.0 connecting to the iPod 30 pin connector? I have an iPhone 5 and tried other 30 pin A2DP bluetooth modules with no success. I have the Apple 30 pin to lightning adapter dongle and the Blackberry remote stereo bluetooth gateway connecting through the Aux, and both work, but the Apple cable is pretty short so I have to keep the phone on the seat, and the music info does not show up on the PCM through the Aux gateway when using the bluetooth gateway.

Hey folks, just sold my 2003 Boxster S Tip 4 weeks ago and was excited to pick up a 2010 CPO Boxster S PDK w/Chrono two weeks ago. Flew from Seattle to Louisville for a quick 2400 mile road trip home. The bad, as soon as I drove it off the lot it was shifting extremely hard (thunks) in lower gears 3-2-1 in both sport and non-sport mode, but it did fine in upper gears on the freeway home. Once home it continued to get worse so I took it into the dealership and they downloaded a software update (TSB# 35/09 ENU 3730) after I had to convince them it was not just because I was newbie to PDK. It was better but still pretty rough. Oddly enough when in sport/manual, the downshift was very smooth. They said it would take a couple hundred miles to adjust and after 350 miles it suddenly got much smoother the last couple of days. I also have some of hesitation in 1st gear noted on other post. So the question, is this normal operation for the PDK and would I expect it to keep getting better?
btw: I've done a lot of research on other boards and have found others with similar PDK issues, but no clear resolutions.
TIA,

Just added the 4-stalk and wiring harness this last weekend for OBC and cruise control. Ordered the parts from Sunset (good group of guys). I took it to a local high end sport car mechanic in the Seattle South Sound area this morning to have the OBC and cruise enabled, but they were unable to initiate the advance scan, and never got the options to enable OBC and cruise. I think they had the laptop version of the PST2 and not the actual device. I took it to Squires in Bellevue this afternoon and it only took Tony about 10 minutes to get it done (including a test drive for the cruise) using his PST2. Kbrandsma, thanks for the info on Squires in Bellevue. B) Everything works great now! The DIY's on this and other boards made the job a breeze....

Update:
So I purchased the Tune2Air WMA1000 and gave it a go, and it delivered exactly what I was hoping it would, A2DP Bluetooth audio streaming from my iPhone 5 with full control and song info from the PCM screen. It connects to the manufacture 30 pin Y cable from Porsche and appears just as if the iPhone is plugged into the 30 pin connector (or a 30 pin to lighting dongle cable adapter for the iPhone 5). I had tried the following options below:
Tune2Air WMA1000 Bluetooth Adapter - Preferred method - connects to manufacture iPod 30 pin Y cable:
Pros:
Cons:
Purchase info: I purchased the WMA1000 from http://www.creativecaraudioshop.com/viseeo-tune2air-wma-1000/. These guys were great with fast shipping.
Apple 30 pin to lightning adapter cable (for iPhone 5) - connects to Porsche supplied iPod Y cable:
Pros:
Cons:
Blackberry Remote Stereo Gateway - Connects to USB port for power and Aux mini stero port:
Pros:
Cons:
Conclusion: By far the Tune2Air WMA1000 worked the best and is what I would recommend for PCM 3.0 owners who want to stream audio from Apple devices using Porsche iPod factory installed solution.
