  1. Glad it worked out. I think if you are able to utilize those TSB even once, it easily covers the donation fee. Nothing like having the correct information for saving on frustration. Cheers, Dan
  2. Become a contributing member and utilized the TSB (6692) on onstalling the roof transport system. Everything you need to one in one stop! Well worth the minor investment. Cheers, Dan
  3. Gus, Its really easy, just be careful the first time. You don't want to break the clip as you have surmised. The clip only needs to be lift a little bit. If you don't have the manual download the one here on the site for the 03. Same exact proceedure. Cheers, Dan
  4. Carefully lift one of the clips, pushing down on the windstop, remove to the rear. Its in the manual if you want pictures , etc. (Documents, Download manuals)
  5. You know I ordered it and didn't even think to ask for the actual number! When I get the invoice I'll post it.
  6. I ordered it from Sunset for about 6 dollars. Just my pet peave. It came with a plug, I want the plug there. I learned along time ago that it is cheaper to stay on top of missing things from the start, otherwise you end up have a grocery list of missing caps, knobs, tool kits, manuals, the list goes on and on. Porsche parts are cheap. Try buying Land Rover parts, they're expensive!.
  7. I'm missing one of the plugs that is removed when you want to install the hardtop. It is pictured on page 155 in the MY 03 manual being removed with a screwdriver. Thanks Dan
  8. I know installing the new gas cap is fairly straight forward, but beforeI got going on it I wondered if anyone had any tips for removing the old pin where the tether connects? Drill it out, is there a secret tool??
  9. My car is an 01 Boxster S. Maybe there is a difference in the bumper license mounting. I assumed it would be the same. My bad.
  10. Here is what I got from Performance Products. Porsche Plate 2 spacers 2 Long black screws (30mm) 4 Short Screw (attach license plate to Porsche plate) 4 Plastic things that screws can screw into ? Smaller 2 Plastic things that screws can screw into ? Larger I don't think all of these are necessrily used. Hope it helps
  11. No there are two plugs painted in the same color as the bumper that you remove to install the license plate hardware. No drilling required.
  12. I just recently ordered one of these too, but haven't installed as of yet. Mine came with 2 spacers that go between the plate and bumber. There were 2 black screws about an iche and a half long. I also received the 4 screw you picture plus the little plastic clips the screws screw into. I think this set up is for all new Porsches. I may be wrong. I will definately need the spacers, long screws and the screws to attache the license to the Porsche plate. I'll see about posting a picture of every thing tonight. Dan
