Maybe spraying some WD-40 in the lock mechanism
might help to clean out the dirt.

Hi all,
my 02 boxster started showing a peculiar symptom this morning: When I unlock the car, the rear trunk lid pops open. I shut the **** thing back and after getting in and driving about a 100 yards it opened up again (the light came up on the console). This has repeated itself about 4 times now and I am thinking some kind of a wire or a fuse problem. Or could it be the rear trunk manual release cable is stretched?? Any ideas?
Some details:
· Model year: 2002
· Model/Engine Boxster 2.7
· Transmission type: 5 speed
Thanks for any help

Hello,
I plan on doing an ipod aux mod to my cdr-220. Can you please help me with the code for my unit before I render it unusable?
Thanks

That seemed to be it. I jiggled with the door switch and that fixed it. Thanks Bill
