My understanding is that it's not that easy on the TT's since there is an oil cooler up front. Is there a draining proceedure for TT's that's slightly different?

I just got the 99 911 Cab and am not familiar with some of its nuances (doesn't help that I didn't get an owner's manual). Upon remote locking, the taillights flash twice which is just like the Boxster I'm familiar with. But many times it also lets out a single horn beep. What's it trying to tell me? Thanks (and to all with advice about the window polish, earlier)
On my 01 tt, the horn beep means that you have pushed the button twice and it deactivates the interior motion sensor (located in the dome light cluster).

And my thoughts almost exactly. I'm hoping time spent over the years in my kart has prepared me to drive at 7/10ths in a 996tt. Maybe a Porsche experience driving school is needed.
But the mods I've been looking at (my car is still in Chicago waiting for me to drive it back to Utah), The bumper plugs, rear bumpers painted, the bumperettes were alreadys deleted at the factory, but I'm considering the GT-2 front bumper (it's beautiful), Good tires, and I'm going to have to get rid of some of gap betwwen the wheels and fender. I was thinking PSS9's, but the ROW X73 setup might be easier...Can I just install the springs?

So if you're looking at the doing the conversion, the bumpers range from $1500 to $3200 US$ (depending on quality and material), and any out there that has done it right, do you have a price and part numbers for the Porsche bits that will be needed?
