Getting your car back once its been stolen may not be everyones idea of good sense , especially if its been abused. Probably better to improve the security to prevent it being stolen in the first place. I added the additional Porsche tilt sensor and battery backed siren to my vehicle that are found on cars in Europe. The rolling code security on the ECU and steering wheel electronics would deter most casual thieves, the tilt sensor protects against the tow away threat and the battery backed siren against the battery being disconnected.

Where does one get the tilt sensor and the battery backup siren? I do think, howerver, my 08 does have the tilt sensor?

Do 295's fit on our cars without spacers? YES, i TRIED WITH SPACERS, BUT WAS TOO WIDE. THE WHEELS WERE BUILT WITH LESS OFFSET AND DIDN'T NEED SPACERS

I really like the windstop window sticker, but I don't like the decals on the side panels. Just a personal opinion. Other than that, you have done a great job! AGREED AT FIRST. I DIDN'T THINK I'D LIKE THE DECAL ON THE DOORS, BUT IT LOOKS GREAT IN PERSON. AND THE RED DECAL MATCHES THE TOP PERFECTLY.

What did you do with the stock wheels? SOLD STOCK WHEELS AND TIRES TO ANOTHER PORSHE OWENR THAT HAD 18' STOCK

Zaino is a great product. NOTHING BETTER. IN FACT, I USED THEIR CS (CLEAR SEAL) PRODUCT FOR THE FIRST TIME... ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW.... JUST WIPE ONE AND LET IT DRY TO A PERFECT DEEP SHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who did steps 4-6 for you? How does this effect the warranty? I DID ALL 10 STEPS MYSELF... I LOVE DOING THIS STUFF. I'M PRETTY MECHICALLY INCLINED AND IT'S A HOBBY FOR ME. BY LAW, NOTHING CAN EFFECT A WARRANTY UNLESS THE DEALER CAN PROVE THE ADDON CAUSED THE PROBLEM!!

Can you "feel" the extra 20 HP over stock? YES YOU CAN. THE CAR JUST FLAT OUT PULLS HARDER. AND WITH THE MODS, POWER (HP & TORQUE) COME ON EARLIER / SOONER.

Also, if you don't have a CD changer installed, you have to have the Porsche dealer tell the car it has a CD player, i.e., the Dension GW500 emulates the CD. I bought mine from http://www.bumperplugs.com/BPindex.html Eric, the owner, is a wealth of information and will help guide you step by step. I did the install myself, put the GW500 unit behind the radio and the USB/iPod in my glove box. Therefore I avoided the front trunk area all together. One last point... In fine print, the 12v hot wire needs to connect to a non-switched constant hot source.

I need to remove my CDR24 head unit to plug in a Dension GW500 iPod adapter where the CD player would plug into. Can anyone point me to were I can find out how to remove? I've tried everything! :(
