  1. I'm in the process of switching out my steering wheel and am trying to figure out how to wire them up. This is what the stock looks like and as you can see, there are two wires (A&B)

Here's the back of the steering wheel on my FVD wheel and one is a black wire (A).

Am I right in connecting the A's and B's? Does it make a difference or are these wires just the ground for the horns?

    Thanks everyone!

  2. Please help anyone

    2001 996 Turbo

    CDR220

    BE 4462

    Serial: Y5054555

Lauren, did I do that right?

    Edwin

    Try 9272

    or

    9270

Thanks for the quick response Loren. I plugged the radio back in and turned it on and it showed "Wait" and didn't allow me to input the code. Anyone know what this means? The wait message never changed

EDIT: NVM... it means the radio has locked me out. I'll try again in an hour

  3. I've searched and am not sure if I'm missing it but I was wondering if you all can help me. I have a 2001 996 Turbo (non bose, non-nav and non-most). I'm installing a aftermarket radio and I want to bypass the stock amp (Harman AES). Does anyone have the diagram that shows which wires in and out of the amp are? Thanks in advance!

  4. My drivers side headlight is out on my 2003 Turbo. OEM HID is running $335 per bulb, aftermarket HID is $150 for both bulbs... Any advice?

Im assuming that my other OEM HID Bulb will go out soon too, so Im thinking buying both aftermarket bulbs for a fraction of the cost is worth it, unless Im missing something....

    Any Advice?

I would make sure figure out what the cause is for the bad headlight, as it could be either the bulb or ballast. If it's just a bulb, you can get a new set of under $40. Email me if you want and I'll let you know where. edwinlau32@gmail.com.

Btw, I've ran aftermarket HID bulbs and kits on my cars as well as aftermarket bulbs on my 01 turbo. Not a problem

  5. Not running this set-up, but did you actually measure the diameters or are you using theoretical? You need to actually measure them...OK for fronts to be slightly bigger, but I strive for less than 1%. Have you had PSM kick in at unusual times?

    I run 235/35-19 and 315/25-29.

I have conflicting information. Based on the dunlop website, it shows diameter of 25.5" front and 25.0" rear, resulting in a less than 1% variance. People on 6speed say that's not possible b/c 295/30 should measure 26" in diameter (which all other tire manufacturers do). I called TireRack and contacted Dunlop and they confirmed that it's 25" diameter. I go home and measure and it's 25.5" rear and 25.0" front, giving me a 2.5% variance. Not sure what to think. PSM hasn't turned on or anything

  6. I was the one that posted that thread. Don't bother emailing them... they won't return your emails (at least they didn't return my three emails). Best way to contact them is to call them in the morning when they open. Usually a guy named Mike answers and he's the one you need to talk to

  7. I currently have this set up on my car and am concerned with the issue of having the front differential getting chewed up b/c of the diameter difference. Although, I've read a few people not having a problem with it. If you have ran this set up, can you please answer:

    1) How long have you ran the set-up?

    2) Any issues with the front differential?

    3) What brand tires did you use?

    Thanks everyone
