You can have a cracked tank or a bad tank cap.If the cap number finish by 01,it can be the cause.The new cap finish by 03.

The bleeding is explain and discuss many time on the site and it's not easy to do.Must be patient.

I finally bought my Uview and received that yesterday.Today i had flush all the system and refill completely with my tool.

It works very well and now i hope that i have solve my traped air problem.

Tomorrow,it wil be the road test.

Finally i ask to uview where to buy the tool in canada and they said UAP/NAPA or CARQUEST have it.

I will go there tomorow to check the price and drop my coolant again and refill with the UVIEW.

Wow, it' made in canada and they dont have it on Amazon.ca. Amazon.com is US and they have it.I am in Canada and i will pay to import

Thank you Maurice but i try to understand how the coolant goes to the tank with vacuum on it.It circulate from the tank to the motor and then to radiators

and where goes the air.If you vacuum the tank,the coolant must enter by another input.Can you explain me how it circulate in the system.?

I want to know where you connect the hoses with the UVIEW tool.Are you filling by the drain plug with vacuum in the tank.?

Is the engime must be at running temperature with thermostat open when you flush the system and when you refill?

Is there a DIY somewhere in the forum with complete information and tricks?

I will order Porsche coolant and refill.

I had low coolant level but no apparent leak.I had refill it 2 or 3 times but it always lower the level and there is a lot of pressure in the tank.

I have a new tank cap finish by 03.

Maybe lot of air in system?

When i open the tank slowly (When hot),the liquid come back to normal level with sound of bubbles

What do you think?

ok but can i have too much pressure in the system if the bleeder is not working well?

Is the blleder on the coolant tank only for bleeding the air in the system or to take expansion when hot and does it open when there is too much pressure????

How does it work in normal running operation?

Is the coolant level same cold and hot?

I am in Québec Canada and my car is us.

I just recheck for leak with engine at 180 and no leak in front and to the rear.

Is that possible that i have some air in the system and the air take place of the coolant

in the tank.?

Last time i add about 1.5 liter of coolant and i update the cap of the tank.(Number finish by 03)

I will try to find a tool with good adapter to put presure on the system.

Can the AOS be the problem of the coolant drop and Why?

I had coolant drop and i dont have smoke.My oil seem to be clean and no trace of oil in coolant.

I replace the coolant cap and refill the coolant and the coolant drop again.

I dont see any leak.

The engine works well and the température is ok at 180.

Where the coolant goes?

Ok,i check for suction and yes,there is a lot of suction.

My throttle body have some oil and is not clean.

I have a real AOS fail on it.......

I will change my coolant cap and look on the forum to know how to fix

my AOS and clean my throtle body and maybe change the air filter.

I forgot to tell you that my water pump have been change and there is no leak.

I check my dipstick oil and it is pretty clean.

My coolant is also clean.

What is "AOS" i think it's "air oil séparator" but not sure and how to check that?

Yesterday i had a low coolant level and there is no apparent leak.

I check my tank cap number and it finish by 01 and there is some moisture on the tank.

I also notice some moisture in the oil filling cap or something like that.

There is pictures of the coolant tank cap and oil filling cap.

I notice some pressure when i have removed the cap with cold engine.

My car have been store in a cold place last winter and the oil have been change 1 month before.

Does i have big trouble???
