  1. hello all,

I am on the verge of buying a 2005 6-cylinder cayenne for the wife.

she currently has a nissan murano, and since we had our first child 10 months ago today!!!! i had to sell my 996 911 turbo (boooooo), which i replaced with a 03 mercedes e55 ... which is out of this world fast for a sedan, either way i want to buy her something nice, something that is going to run for a while. I do not want to go overboard on price, cuz we are in the midst of looking for a house, and i have a little fund ive started for an 07 turbo. She doesnt need fast by any stretch ... just needs "AWD navigation and a sunroof"

    that is my situation.

here is what we are looking at,

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-Porsche-Cayenne-NAVIGATION-SUNROOF-NEW-BRAKES-/120610582798?pt=US_Cars_Trucks

please let me know your thoughts ... i think i can get this for a really really good price

ps i love the engine bay we could have a picnic in there with all the extra space

  2. Looking for a new SUV for my wife, her nissan murano is all beat up

i was looking into getting a 2006 cayenne s titanium edition.

    few questions:

    1. almost all that i see are out of factory warranty, does anyone have an aftermarket warranty? if so which company should i purchase this through

    2. any major issues with the 2006?

    3. thoughts on my wife driving this, she is not a speed demon by any means, since we had our first child she drives slow, super slow

  3. Loren,

I was wondering if you could help me out by giving me a build date and an option list for this my '01 turbo?

I know its an early one because when i bought it, it only had 6k miles on it with original tires coded from late 2000, is there any way to find out what number this was on the assembly line or what number it was coming into the US?

    Vin:WP0AB29931s686133

    Thanks for the asistance

    Brendan
