  1. Hello guys,

I want to do Scouser's 'In-dash spoiler switch' modification to my MY2000 C2 Cabrio. I have a couple of questions though:

    • What's the best way to remove the blank switch (below) once I pry the switch tab off the dash? Does it snap off? I'm afraid to force it, there must be a trick

    to it someone knows...

    • In my car all the 'tip switches' on the left side are blanks so for the new switch to light I'll have to connect it to the other side, can I run the wires above the

PCM unit to the covertible top switch? Will that work?

  2. Hello guys,

I am considering upgrading the PCM1 system on my 2000 996 Cabrio. The Kenwood dnx7120 sounds really good as I like the Garmin GPS portable I currently have. It also has an iPod connection. My questions are:

    • What system does the MY 2000 PCM have? 2 din?

    • Has anyone installed the Kenwood dnx7120? Does it just pop right into the PCM slot? Any major issues?

    Let me know,

    Thanks,

    Alex

  3. Hello. I completed the drain project on my 2000 996 Cabrio and found the rear drains as noted in this pic posted by smackboy1:

I removed the front wheel arch liners as well but could not find any obvious drains except for the open hole in the pic below:

Question: is that where the water drain should be that comes from the front trunk around the battery and is missing a rubber part?? (# 4 in the diagram below)

    Thanks,
