  1. We just picked up an 04 Turbo Saturday with 39k miles and it's a CPO. This is my first Porsche. I've wrenched on everything I've owned but I'm hoping to keep that to a minimum on this vehicle and return to modding a sportbike. My last vehicle (and it's for sale) is/was a Subaru Forester that is modded to the point it ran an 11.6@126mph in the summer heat launching soft to keep from breaking axles. You can look up Forester on You Tube to see that and the Texas Mile (standing mile run) that I've made as well at 158.9mph. Anyway it's great to find a good resource of info here so it was a no-brainer to contribute to the site and also order the Durametric software to help with servicing and any problems down the road when the extended warranty runs out. I'm in Houston, TX and work at NASA at the Arc Jet facility (Experimental Heat Transfer Facility) burning up tiles and other re-entry materials to see how they stand up when the spacecraft in question comes back down to earth. I also used to race motorcycles in the CMRA, but now just settle for being an occasional instructor for Lone Star Track Days. It's great to be here!
