Have a look at the TSB section on this forum. The fluid approval list is in there.
-
You may have more than one defect here.
Changing the starter is a good move considering the symptoms you have described.
Don't be surprised if there still is another defect somewhere, but you are one step closer to finding it.
-
Not the same fluid as per the Porsche Approval List. The T-case is the same fluid that is run in the automatic transmission on the cayenne.
Transfer case fluid part number is 000 043 301 36.
Tiptronic fluid part number is 000 043 205 28.

You will find lots of opinions on oils and fluids.
If you want to take the guesswork out of it, and you want a choice that will give you peace of mind, go for the fluids on the Porsche approval list.
Change the fluids sooner than later and you will be guaranteed smooth shifting and longevity.

I do a rotor change typically every second pad change.

On the 955 Cayennes, there's only one fuse that feeds the left, right and inside mirrors.
Fuse is in the right dash fuse panel F49 and is 5 amps.
Check the electrical plug connections inside the mirror housing.
-
It's normal for the transmission to start off in 1st gear when cold or when you select PSM switch to off.
-
Sorry to here about that, but looks like you didn't change the part (servo) that would have solved the issue.
-
Did you change the transfer servo motor?
-
Yep, Not hard at all.
Pull the mirror, remove the adjust motor, unscrew the housing and it comes apart.
Follow the procedure and it behaves as advertised.
-
IIRC, I don't think the servo relay is connected up into the CAN, therefore won't be picked up as faulty.
-
The servotronic control relay has been known to fail causing heavy steering.

Use that good scanner of yours and post some fault codes.

This attached procedure shows the arm rest removal. Apply the same technique for the ash tray removal.
Looks like you will have some holes visible if you remove the ash trays and don't replace them.
-
Not necessarily. If it was just a pulley one would think that the noise would be replicable when spinning them with the belt off. But the tech said that he didn't notice anything with this test.
The pulley may be silent with the belt off, but will squeal when it is loaded with the belt on.

Is the oil pump doing its job?

Time to get the exorcist.....
The fact that your wipers are moving whilst asleep is a clue.
For starters, I would pull the wiper fuse and see if that eliminates your battery issue. It's the 30 amp fuse #8 on the left side dash fuse panel. Provides hot bus power to the wiper motor.

Secondary air pumps make more of a "whirring" sound than a whistling.
-
I've attached 2 plumbing schematics for the air suspension system.
The first is for the Touareg, the second for the Cayenne.
I'm assuming the aftermarket compressor you have may be like the one for the Touareg which did not have the tyre filling feature.
If that is the case then you can see the tyre filling plumbing is not available on that compressor, and is also fitted with some extra check valves which could be causing your issue.
The tyre filling connection is shown as number 8 on the Cayenne diagram, and is missing from the Touareg version.

Control unit is located under the right front seat.

P2933 or P2293 ?
You have listed both.
Year and model would help.

The correct Porsche part numbers for your VIN are as follows.
955 624 601 01 servo motor
955 618 023 05 transfer case control unitI dont have the VW equivalent numbers.
-
PM me your VIN and I'll check the correct part numbers.

Look at your options list sticker under the rear luggage compartment cover.
