As a dealer myself I'm very familiar with how an auction works, but thanks... but it still is an inaccurate statement to say that "exotics have dumped in value" because of One car that sold way below auction average.

Not a bit surprised...especially at an auction.

Well considering they sell here in jersey every week for high 70's- low 80's, I don't know who in their right mind would take a 10-14k hit on a car instead of just shippin it to somewhere where they can get the right $ for it. Unless the car has some sort of branded title, I find it hard to believe. So I don't think saying that they are not worth anything right now is an accurate statement, sorry.

Was at a auction today and saw a '07 997 TT with 35K sell for $66K.

Wow! What a steal. Exotics have dumped in value. Ferrari 360 Modena's can now be had in the $60's and $70's. Saw a Ferrari 430 with 9K miles sell for $145K. Lamborghini Gallardo go for $64K. Good time to buy, bad time to sell.

Does a 987 have a hood release cable under the passenger side inner fender lining? Have a dead battery but the fuse post thing will not allow the hood to open when connected to a separate battery. I can hear a clicking sound but no release...

If you download the owners manual pdf here on this site, it has specific instructions on how to wire a seperate battery to a specific location in the fuse panel of the car.
