  1. Hi

Thank you so much for the diagram whilst may I ask if I need to take out all the panels shown in the diagram before I can replace the pollen filter? BTW, Is that the one and only filter for the air circulation system?

    Have a nice day!

Your pollen filter is under the front hood and removing the plastic panel.

Very east to replace - part number 997.571.219.01

  2. Hi everyone

I just brought a 2007 911 GT3 RS but the owners manual is missing. Is there anyone got this manual in electronic form coz I want to know how to put back the 4 point seat belt under the RS chair.

    My directly email is inspector9991@yahoo.com

    Thanks a lot

  3. See my post on starter problems. I had the same issue, lights came on and starter would click once, then nothing. I replaced the battery, the electricals for the switch, and went through a used starter from Ebay and a new starter that I bought on-line. Same problem. Then a member suggested checking the gound strap from the engine to the frame. Took the strap off and checked it for breaks and continiuty (it was fine), cleaned the posts and reinstalled the strap, problem was gone, starter works fine. Tested the original starter and the used one from Ebay, both are good. Will be selling them if you need one, but first check the gound strap. It is on the right side and goes from the frame to the front of the head.

Thanks for your info whilst do you have a photo or drawing to show the location of the ground strap.

Many thanks and have a good day!

  4. DME-Cruise control-TC, that kind of stuff.

Thanks for your prompt reply whilst may I ask if this switch is also related to the starter circuit as well?

My case is my Yr 1999 996 C2 have the starting problem like the other had before. When I turn the key the starter wont start sometimes (with all the usual lights and checking signs on the dashboard). I took it to the dealer and they said this is common to 996 and replace whole set of ignition key switch of my car. After that I thought the problem is clear but today when I use it this morning the first start is the same as before and I have to do it again in order to start the car.

I read this forum about all cases on this problem and start to check my car and found my car dont have the micro switch (as shown in the picture, no.16). So I would like to ask if there is anything I should look at beside the micro switch.

    Many thanks again.
