  1. AFAIK,

    Generically it is a type of polyurathane, commonly used in most late model cars. Porsche may use a specific formula... might be tough to find out exactly the composition though.

    According to someone at porsche he looked at a bumper and it said: <PP+EPDM P20>

    PP could be but EPDM is a sort rubber so I'm not sure about the PP either!

    What do you guys think about PP?

    To be honest I was more think of PU like you!

  2. I just looked again in hte part catalog, it seems to be true that the 550 has the987 filter, but they don't list the 987 airbox for the 550, I guess they forgot it, because you can't fit a 987 filer in 986 airbox!

    So the best way to find ou is a real picture I guess
