  10. in Spanish forums, many customers have installed 7mm spacer front and 15mm rear (with longer bolts), as they are sold by FVD, but this is not approved by Porsche!! They say all is ok!! CAN I INSTALL???
  11. I need to know: CD Compartment in Pcm Navi unit 8 bits is the same as 16 bits? I suppose the difference is in the mainboard, not in cd compartment.... wrong or right?
  12. No luck in ebay, any shop where to get? That´s all!!! If you can help me.....
  13. pcm1 8 bits --> only Porsche disks. (last update 2000-2) pcm1 16 bits ---> from 02/2001 to 07/2002. There is a porsche tequipment update to 2004. If your soft version is 5.43 you can use opel disks and then you can get total update to 2006. If you are not sure you have 8 or 16 bits, you have to pull out your pcm navi computer and see part number: 996.642.122.00, 01, 02 --> 8 bits. 03 and 12 ---> 16 bits.
  14. Now I know there are two versions of head but I need to know a part number.
  15. If you have pcm1 8 bits, only porsche supply discs (2000-2) but if you have 16 bits then you can buy opel ncdr to run your pcm nav. regards.
  16. The screws are not held on with much torque, so they must be seized. Try to use WD-40, PB Blaster, or another penetrant to loosen. --Brian 10 Nm as TSB
  17. What size spacers and where did you get them? If they are the Porsche 5mm spacers, there is only one small screw to remove and then replace on the spacer. Many use 5mm, 6mm and maybe larger without the single mounting screw. Need more info to help you. Spacers are the same than coochas, Porsche kit 5mm spacer and longer bolts.
  18. Today I have been mounting spacers. Impossible for me unscrew little screws on hub. I have installed spacers with no screw, but with 130Nm on longer bolts. What tool did you use for removing screws on hub?
