Just came back from a drive. I am down to 300 miles... 700 to go... I might drive up to Dallas tomorrow... about 600 +-... :D

Man...
I can't believe I have been able to resist flooring that throttle... it is MORE difficult than saying no to SEX! I have only been in the 4k RPMs neighborhood, that is barely when the engine begins to breathe... I can only imagine what passing 5k will do to me... I CAN'T WAIT!!!
The hell with it, I am going to drive all over freakin' Texas until I get to 1200 miles...
I've got the shakes man!!!

Yup. Alamo Heights :)

Any break-in tips?
:D

Hello,
Has anybody experimented with aftermarket brake pads?
I am currently using the original ones from Porsche and they have done very good at the track and during daily driving. However, the dust A LOT!!
I was wondering if there is something out that that:
1) brakes better
2) gives a better brake feel
3) do not squeaks as much
4) last but not least, does not DUST AS MUCH
What about that Green Stuff or BHP?
Comments, ideas?

Hey mikesako,
If you are running with the stock muffler... gotta tell ya, the Fabspeed mufflers are the best ones I have heard. I like them better than the PSEs. My take..
Get'em, get'em... :notworthy:

Hello all,
I started a EVO SC kit group buy @ Rennlist:
http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/show...ad.php?t=177169
As of right now, there are 4 of us in and 2 thinking about it...
I am contacting EVO MS to see what kind of discount we could get and under what terms but the more RennTech-ers interested, the better... :)
Unless you live in AZ, you would still need to get a mechanic to do the install.
Anybody from RennTech interested? Send me an e-mail... :)

I have the Fabspeed tips, they look awesome!
I bought them with the mufflers. I agree with dj996, it sounds AWESOME and the tips look much much better than the stock.

Hey jcoduto,
If she thinks you are nuts because you like taking care of your car... ask her why it takes 3+ hours to find the "perfect" pair of shoes...

Good to know, THANKS!

Er, I meant to say:
NO parking NEXT to other coupe cars, not UNDER...
:D
-
Like I said on my rennlist posting:
NO valet parking
NO car washes of ANY kind
NO parking under trees
NO parking under other coupes (long doors, Mustangs, for instance)
NO parking next to cars that look all dinged and stuff
If I have to walk 2 miles back to where I was going but that gives me piece of mind... I'll do it...
How is that for nutz?
Heheheheh...

Hey Loren,
How about some kind of electric relay sound? I hear this "click" as soon as I start depressing the clucth pedal... I always forget to ask when I am at the dealer's...
