Removing xenon headlights

My 2003 Porsche Boxster S will not be possible to remove the headligths according to user manual.
Place socket wrench from tool kit on the onlocking spindle. The tongue of the wrench should point horizontally to the rear.Turn the wrench approximately 180 to the front A in the picture. The headlight should now be unlocked and should be possible to be pulled forward out of the fender. This doesn't work. How can this be fixed or are there any tips how to remove the headlight?
Hope for help!
