  1. Hi. My symptoms are low voltage when the engine is running: 11.9 to 12.3. i removed the alternator and replace the voltage regulator with a new part and replaced the original alternator: same deal. Could anything else be causing this beside the battery (went thru two of those already), the voltage regulator, or the alternator?

    And if it is the alternator, where can i get a new one without a core charge?

    Any help is appreciated

  2. hi. I'm changing the two rear engine mounts. I supported the engine in the center and removed the bottom bolt of the driver's side rear mount. As I did that: a load pop and the driver's side of the engine dropped a bit. put the new mount in from the top but I can't seem to raise the engine up enough to get the stud to clear the carrier so I could put the bolt back on. If I try to jack up the drivers side of the engine, the whole car lifts up, not just the engine.
