i have recently seen e-bay item (PCM3 with wiring harnesses) with the seller/shop claiming that it is retrofitable to older models. if you can find it maybe worth a call

Did you read the PCM Installation TSB?
As a Contributing Member you have access to the TSBs - in this case with all the instructions.
Yes I did, but only for PCM 2.1 my case is for 3.0 (installed in 2009 models). I would like to be access to Nr. parts to. I ask to my dealer 2 weeks ago but still no answer 8too much work I think).
Do you have Workshop manual i can read for this matter???

They don't sell that option as an upgrade for older cars so it won't be in a TSB or in the service manual.
You can hope that when they publish the PCM 3 install TSB - that it is something you can use to configure PCM 3 for your car. Sorry, but I think you are breaking new ground here unless you can find someone that has already done it.

Can anybody tell me if it would be possible retrofit a ´06 Cayenne S w/cdr-23+cdc-4 no bose amp to a PCM 3.0? Which parts, wiring and connectors are required for this work?
