I read up and down posts...:
still unclear:
I have a 05 cayenne with a PCM with Nav without the phone.
I want to have the phone in my car:
can i swap PCM with one which has the phone or is it either to complicated or cost prohibitive and should I stick with a parrot set up?
thanks in advance

....the original German models are right-hand drive, and American models are left-hand drive....
Germans drive on the same side of the road as we do (Left hand drive), unless you are referring to some Asian & British market

My 05 Navigation is too out of date, it's time to get a Nav with touch screen, seamless ipod interface, good 3D nav etc...
Went to a local shop they have the Alpine INE-Z928HD and the Kenwood Excelon DNX9990HD, not being functioning units its hard to evaluate, can't base it on the recommend from the guys that tells me: " If you buy now I give you good deal"....
What are you experiences?
Practical, good GUI? (not iDrive complex?)
Does the 8" Alpine fit?
Do I really need:
(1) head unit
(1) 6 ch amp
(1) steering wheel control module
(1) bose converter
(1) harness
was quoted $3k, no speakers just the above, seem high if only because of where the "negotiation price" started
