  1. Fixed!

Thanks Cassie, I swapped actual bulbs and voila, I had low beams.

Went out and bought some bulbs and put them in.

The strange thing is that the driver's side bulb looks fine(the one I was actually/initially testing), so that threw me from the get go.

I'll remember the swap method in the future!

    thanks for everyone's help.

  2. Hello,

From what I found online, here and pbb, I replaced my ignition switch, but my headlights still don't work.

    Background:

Started my car, switched on my headlights, came on for a brief moment, then they went off.

Jiggled the ignition key, to see if they came on at all, nothing.

Checked fuses, A slots 3 and 4, fuses okay, are the fuses that I'm checking even the correct ones?

Checked the bulbs, they are okay.

Changed the ignition switch, same issue.

My high beams and fog lights work...

    Now I'm at a loss.

    Any insight?

    Thanks!

  3. Thanks again, did it yesterday, 3 bars instead of barely 1, strange...

Had some issues with the arm and the wiper motor arms(scraping), but a little bending and it's all okay now.

    cheers!

There is a hole on the arm that I put a small locknut and bolt through and attached one of these:

and then I bent it so the far end was level (I may have bent it before mounting). The antenna is magnetic and stuck right to it, no other mounting was necessary.

It's now been there for months, and I haven't touched it, works flawlessly! I get great reception that is better than my other vehicle that came with sirius from the factory.

  4. I've heard from a couple people that have installed the PNP speakers.

They add a surround sound type listening environment to your current setup. Nothing amazing, just speakers behind you.

    Great quality.

I guess you could upgrade the actual speakers, but bottom line, 5/14 speakers are still just 5/14 speakers. I tried to purchase the BEST 5/14 speakers, and they sound okay. (this is in my gf's car)

There just insn't any space for a decent, great sounding speaker box/system.

I've had fantastic sounding stereos, but always had the room to add whatever I needed. No so in this case, I'm happy listening to the engine and having the wind in my hair and sun on my shoulders.
